Saudia Airlines flight SV119, operating on the Jeddah–London route, made an emergency diversion to Cairo due to a medical emergency onboard. According to the official statement from the airline, Cabin Chief Mohsen bin Saeed Al Zahrani suffered a sudden health issue while on duty and, despite all efforts, passed away.
The statement noted that fellow crew members and medically trained passengers onboard tried to assist Al Zahrani, but he tragically passed away before the aircraft could reach Cairo International Airport.
Saudia Airlines expressed deep sorrow over Al Zahrani’s sudden passing, offering condolences to his family and loved ones. The airline also emphasized that the flight landed safely and all necessary procedures were carried out to ensure passenger safety.
